4c/2½c Magpie Moth lower right corner block x 8, surcharged photogravure by Harrison, with partial loss of red from last column resulting in two stamps with 'MAGPIE' rather than 'MAGPIE MOTH' inscription and '½c' rather than '2½c' denomination. In addition, the colour is missing from the moth's body. Spectacular and very scarce. A wonderful showpiece. Fresh and fine. Mint never hinged. SG957var; SC480avar; CPP30a(Y)
