CERTIFICATES OF GENUINENESS

Peace of mind is available in the form of an electronically delivered Certificate of Genuineness (COG). Each security watermarked, non-editable COG carries an individual serial number and includes an image and description of the authenticated philatelic item. Further, it is uniquely linked to the certified item and is non-transferable.

A Certificate of Genuineness can be ordered when purchasing a qualifying item from the Zeboose superstore. It is sent by email as a tamper-proof, viewable/printable PDF file.

Certificates of Genuineness (COGs) should not be considered to be statements of fact. Nor should the opinions be taken to be statements or representations of fact. COGs are statements of our opinion. They are made in good faith and to the best of our knowledge.

A Certificate of Genuineness guarantees an item's authenticity. It does not guarantee condition. An opinion of condition is included, but is only valid at the time of issue. An item's condition cannot be guaranteed due to any number of factors affecting it over time, including ambient, handling, and storage.

In the unlikely event that an item should be proven to be not genuine by a recognised expertising body, a refund for the original purchase price and postage will be offered subject to the item being in the same condition as when it was sold, in the possession of the original purchaser, and the Certificate of Genuineness still being valid.
