Ronald Maddox
Ronald Maddox (1930–2018) was born at Purley in Surrey and studied at St Albans School of Art. After stints at London agencies, he went freelance producing watercolours of buildings and landscapes serving British Rail, British Telecom and the Countryside Commission. For Royal Mail he designed 1972 Village Churches, 1978 British Architecture, 1984 Urban Renewal and 1989 Industrial Archaeology.
