Peter Murdoch

Peter Murdoch stamp designer
Peter Murdoch was born in 1940 and studied interior design at Kingston School of Art and the RCA. Success came early with his Pop Art 'chair thing', folded from a single sheet of card, and graphics for the 1968 Mexico Olympics. His studio later devised identities for McDonald's and Heathrow. For the Post Office he designed 1973 European Communities, 1977 Commonwealth Heads of Government and 1978 Energy.
