Leonard Rosoman

Leonard Rosoman (1913–2012) was born in London and trained at King Edward VII School of Art, Newcastle, and the Royal Academy Schools. A war artist with the fire service and then the Navy in the Pacific, he painted murals for the Festival of Britain and Lambeth Palace and taught at the RCA, where David Hockney was a pupil. His Great Britain stamps are 1966 Landscapes and 1968 British Bridges (1s6d).
