Harold J Bard

Harold J Bard (1908–1980) trained at Waterlow from 15. His first banknote engraving was for Portugal in 1929 while his first postage stamp work was for the Cayman Islands 1938 definitives. Later issues include Great Britain 1955 Castles and St Lucia 1960 Stamp Centenary. Much of his work is uncredited for security reasons, but includes banknotes for Australia, Canada, Denmark and Thailand.
