Dennis Bailey

Dennis Bailey (1931–2016) was born in Bognor Regis and studied at West Sussex School of Art and the RCA. A travelling scholarship took him to Italy. Assistant editor of Graphis in Zurich from 1956, he became a design consultant to the Arts Council, Tate Gallery, The Economist, RIBA and Penguin, teaching typography at Central and Chelsea. His one Great Britain issue is 1964 Geographical Congress.
