High value Castle definitives of Great Britain, printed by Waterlow with St Edward's crown watermark, surcharged and overprinted 'KUWAIT' on 23 September 1955 by Waterlow (type I) and on 10 October 1957 by Harrison (type II). Note: the type I Waterlow overprints have thicker letters, sharper corners and straight edges compared to the later Harrison type II overprints. The Waterlow-printed obliteration bars are closer together than the Harrison equivalents
